Injection Moulding
Injection Moulding of plastic products
The injection dept. of rose plastic employs machines with a closing force (250 - 3500 KN) providing the capacity to inject between 1 to 700 gm. of material per operating cycle. "rose" can process all the customary plastic material such as PP, PE and PS in tools which may produce as many as 20 components in one cycle.
An injection moulding machine works like this:
Material in the form of plastic pellets is fed to the extruder from a hopper. The pellets are moved along by a warm screw, and melted by heat. The warm screw then compresses the melted plastic and injects it at high pressure through a nozzle into the mold. The melted plastic material fills the inner shape of the mold (e.g. "Cup" or "Pipe"), and then sets as the tool is cooled. After a short cooling period the tool opens and ejects the finished article.
