LDPE is a thermoplastic commodity heavily used in consumer products and defined has having a density range of 0.910- 0.940 g/cc. It is long-lasting, weatherproof, sturdy at low temperatures and easy to process. The melting point of LDPE is below that of HDPE. LDPE is used for both rigid and plastic film applications such as plastic bags and film wrap.
